The translation of Song Ci can promote the exchange of Chinese and foreign cultures and carry forward the Chinese culture. As a well
6、-known translator, Xu Yuanchong proposed the “Three Beauty theory has great guidance in poetry translation. This thesis analyzes Xu Yuanchongs translation of Li Qingzhaos Ci and points out that the translation not only reproduces the “Three Beauty of the original text, but also the readers of the tr
7、anslation can feel the same beauty as the original reader. Based on the above discussion, this paper concludes that “Three Beauty theory can guide the English translation of Li Qingzhaos Ci, so that the readers of the translation have the same beautiful enjoyment with the original readers.Key words:

IntroductionCi is a kind of unique poetry style and appeared after Tang poetry, it is also a kind of Chinese ancient poetry. Ci began in the Liang Dynasty, formed
11、 in the Tang Dynasty, Five Dynasties and Ten States began to flourish and then in the Song Dynasty reached its peak, so it is commonly known as Song Ci. Song Ci plays an important part in Chinese classical literature. And Li Qingzhao (1084-1155, she also named Li Yian) is the talented woman poet in
12、the history of the Song Dynasty literature. Whats more, as the most famous female poet in Chinese history, Ci Poems that she handed down to subsequent generations are a treasure in the history of Chinese literature. And her Ci has delicate emotions, fresh language, elegant diction and abundant image
