3、icalEngineeringatxiamenJuniorEngineeringCollege.IchoseElectricalEngineeringasmymajorbecause,ontheonehand,IlikedPhysicsverymuch;andontheotherhand,electricalindustryisamajorsectoroftheeconomyofChina. ThefiveyearsofintensivetrainingcametoanendinJune1978whenIreceivedadiploma.AndinJuly1980.IwashiredbyNan
4、YaplasticCompanyandhaveservedasajuniorelectricalengineeratthecompanytothepresent.Ienjoytheworkandfeelcompetentforthejob. Inworking,however,IveFoundthatwhatIhavelearnedinschoolislimitedandfarfromsufficienttohandlesophisticatedjobs.Therefore,IhavedecidedtoextendmyeducationandwouldliketoenteranAmericaninstitutionfirstlytoearnaBachelorsdegreeinElectricalEngineering.Then,ifpossible,IwouldliketocontinuemyeducationtowardaMastersdegree. Afterthisobjectiveisreached,Iwillreturntomycountryandseekajobinapublicfirm.MostprobablyIwillcontinuetoworkwithNanYaPlasticCompany.
