2、eaction was usedto prepare photoinitiated radical curing sealantsbased on polythioether rubber.The effect of typesand amount of photoinitiators in the curing system,aswell as the types of olefins and polythiols on the me-chanical properties of the sealant after vulcanization,temperature of thermal d
3、ecomposition,and glasstransition temperature were studied.The resultsshowed that compared with photoinitiator 184,thecu-ring effect and thermal stability of the curedsealant were better when using photoinitiator 1173,and the mechanical properties and thermal stabilityof the sealant decreased with in
4、creasing amount ofphotoinitiator.And the appropriate amount of pho-toinitiator 1173 was 0.03 phr(mass,the same be-low).The mechanical properties of polythioethersealant cured with tripropylene glycol diacrylate(TPGDA)as curing agent were the best,and themechanical properties and thermal stability of
5、 thesealant increased with increasing amount of TPGDA.And the appropriate amount of TPGDA was 1.00 phr.The addition of multifunctional mercaptan could im-prove the crosslinking degree of the sealant and alsomake the glass transition temperature increased.Key words:liquid polythioether rubber;ultravi
