1、城 市 设 计U R B A N D E S I G N2022|5|No.043主编的话本期专题为“数据驱动设计(Data-driven Design)”。不管是13世纪刘秉忠设计的元大都,还是19世纪塞尔达设计的巴塞罗那,抑或20世纪柯布西耶设计的昌迪加尔,数据及其分析都是设计的关键部分。随着大数据、云计算、物联感知、人工智能、数字孪生等技术的发展,数据及其分析在设计过程和决策之中扮演越来越重要的角色。在很大程度上,社会、经济、环境、文化等因素与形式设计之间互动的机制逐步被更为精准地揭示,从人的视角去生成设计的过程也被数字化加速赋能,激发了更为多元的设计创新。本期刊登了相关的空间机制性方法
2、研究以及实践与教学文章。理查德周(Richard Chou)等基于KPF的实践案例,详细阐述了未来的数据驱动设计理念与方法,聚焦场地设计、建筑体验以及城市效能。尼克道尔顿(Nick S.dalton)等引入有限制的随机机制,尝试解决不同规模的等视域的比较难题,适用于设计过程之中的中微观视线分析。山姆麦克尔希尼(Sam Mc Elhinney)等研究了等视域的变化规律,识别“惊喜时刻”,有助于理解室内环境与城市公共空间形态的变化引发了空间认知的“局部整体”机制。帕纳吉奥蒂斯马夫罗斯(Panagiotis Mavros)等从室内外空间联系的角度,研究了热带大都市零售裙房与城市空间的关系,应用于混合
3、用途建筑与周边城市空间的设计。朱睿佳等运用触媒理论,以逻辑关系的数字化去联动设计过程,探索了天津鞍山道历史文化街区更新的教学应用,强调了触媒要素选择及其反应等。EDITORS NOTEThe theme of this issue is“Data-driven Design”.Whether Yuan Dadu designed by Liu Bingzhong in the 13th century,Barcelona by Cerd in the 19th century,or Chandigarh by Corbusier in the 20th century,had included
4、 the key part of data-related analyses.With the rapid development of big data,cloud computing,IoT sensing,artificial intelligence,digital twins and others,data and related analyses play an increasingly important role in the design procedure and decision-making.To a large extent,the mechanism of inte
5、raction between social,economic,environmental,cultural and other factors and physical design has gradually been revealed more accurately,and the generative process of designing,from a point of view of human being,has also been accelerated by such digitalization,stimulating more diversified design in
6、novation.This issue publishes the studies on spatial mechanistic methods as well as the practical and teaching articles.Richard Chou and others elaborated on the future of the data-driven design by introducing the KPF projects,focusing on site design,architectural experience,and urban efficiency.Nic
7、k S.Dalton et al.introduced a limited random mechanism to seek to solve the problem of comparing the different sizes of isovists,which is suitable for meso-and micro-scopic visual analysis in the design process.Sam Mc Elhinney et al.have studied the change patterns of a series of isovists and identi
8、fied the aha moments,which is helpful to understand the“part-whole”mechanism of spatial cognition affected by the change of the forms of either indoor environment or urban public spaces.Panagiotis Mavros et al.studied the relationship between retail podia and urban realm in tropical metropolises fro
9、m the perspective of the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces,and applied them to the design of mixed-use buildings and surrounding urban spaces.Using catalyst theory and the digitalization of logical relationship embedded in the design procedure,Zhu Ruijia et al.explored the teaching applic
