5、于地域、风俗、政治、宗教及价值观念等方面的不同，中英文中相对应的颜色词往往代表着不同的含义，本文将从功能对等的角度对中西颜色词进行系统的分析，以便更好的理解在翻译层中不同的文化背景对语言产生的影响力，防止在跨境文化翻译中产生文化冲突。 西方文明一开始就比较注重科学理性的教育和科学方法的探索，对客观世界和客观认识采取积极的科学态度。因此，西方文化中颜色的象征意义往往比较直接，一般使用客观事物的具体颜色来象征某些抽象的的文化含义，所以更容易追溯其语义理据和逻辑理据。而中国经历了几千年的封建社会以及教育和科技的相对落后，它的开展受到中国社会文化的开展的较大影响。所以中国文化中的颜色内涵和象征意义非常
6、丰富，而且颜色词的的象征意义是多元的。目前，国内外翻译界中关于颜色词条的翻译有很多，但本文旨在通过功能对等的视角，在英文颜色词的翻译上进行更为深入的探索。并且由于文化、历史等的不同，所导致的翻译方法和方式也不同，所以应当结合当今现有的颜色词的翻译以及我们本国的文化，为这个虽起步较晚，但不可无视、亟待加强的重要翻译研究领域提供有益的参考和借鉴。关键词：颜色词，功能对等,文化差异，翻译原那么Abstract Color words is an important part of every ethnic culture. Due to the differences of geographical
