10、al Engineers was solicited to develop astandard for carriers that are used in frame construction.At the time,a standard existedfor the evaluation of carriers for floor-affixed carriers and supports that are typically installedin commercial,indusuial,and institutionai buildings with concrete floors.T
11、he standard forfloor-supported carriers and suppoits is ASME A112.6.IM.This Standard complements ASME A112.6.1M.Some of the specifications and tests aresimilar and appropriately.are referenced in this Standard.However.due to differences inassembly of thesc framing-affixed products from the floor-aff
