16、such as diameter,length,flatness,parallelism,concentricity,taper,and squareness.Sincemicrometers arewidelyusedfor themeasurementand comparisonofsomeof thesefeatures,the B89 Consensus Committee authorized formation of Project Team B89.1.13 to prepare thisStandard.This Standard is a revision of the first edition,ASME B89.1.13-2001.The 2001 edition was basedin part on Federal Specification GGG-C-105C,published by the General Services Administration(GSA),as well as manufacturers current practices an
