6、s.The pro-gram of general purpose machine tool standardization was aimed at providing greater interchangeability of tooling between the attaching surfaces of like types and sizes of machines.It was divided into four(4)subcommittees to establish standards on drilling,grinding,milling,and turning mach
7、ines.This activity was known as the Cooperative Machine Tool Standardization Group and operated as such unti1 Novem-ber 29,1962,at which time it was integrated into American National Standards Committee B5.This standard has been developed by the Grinding Committee of the aforementioned group and rep
