7、D(polygraph)examinations maintaintheir proficiency in the profession.Changes are constantlybeing made in the areas of instrumentation,testing format,andprocedures,as well as legislation which affects the conduct ofthe industry.It is important that the individual PDD examinerbe aware of changes in te
8、chnology.5.Minimum Requirements for Advanced ContinuingEducation PDD Training5.1 The required number of minimum hours of training tomaintain professional competence is 40 h,every two calendaryears,starting with the date on which the basic PDD(poly-graph)training was completed.5.2 A minimum of 20 h o
9、f continuing education trainingmust be in the primary area of instruction,and up to 20 h maybe in the secondary area of instruction.A normal classroomcontact hour is 50 consecutive min.5.3 All continuing education must be documented in theform of a certificate,diploma,continuing education units(CEU)
10、certificate,or letter transcript setting forth the followingminimum information:5.3.1 Name,address,and location of the training.5.3.2 Name of the instructor or instructor(s)providing theinstruction along with a resume of the instructor(s).5.3.3 Date(s)of training and name of the person receivingthe
11、training.5.3.4 Number of hours of training broken down by curricu-lum or subject matter and appropriate course outline(s).6.Sources for Advanced Continuing PDD Training6.1 Acceptable PDD(polygraph)advanced training may beobtained from any of the following areas:6.1.1 Any formal PDD(polygraph)school
