11、ometer to obtain a quantitative measurement ofsurface profile(depth).5.Significance and Use5.1For proper bonding of overlays and coatings,it isimportant that a concrete surface have the correct surfaceprofile.This test method allows one to obtain a permanentreplica of the concrete surface,which can
