3、ies included in this classification system arethose required to identify the compositions covered.Otherrequirements necessary to identify particular characteristicsimportant to specialized applications are to be specified byusing suffixes as given in Section 5.1.3 This classification system allows f

4、or the use of recycledmaterials provided that all specification requirements are met.1.4 This classification system is intended to be a means ofcalling out plastics materials used in the fabrication of enditems or parts.It is not intended for the selection of materials.Material selection can be made

5、 by those having expertise in theplastics field only after careful consideration of the design andthe performance required of the part,the environment to whichit will be exposed,the fabrication process to be employed,thecosts involved,and the inherent properties of the material otherthan those cover
