10、1 This practice consists of calculating the permeate flowof UF systems at a standard set of conditions using dataobtained at actual operating conditions.5.Significance and Use5.1 During the operation of a UF system,conditions includ-ing pressure and temperature can vary,causing permeate flowto chang

11、e(see Note 1).To effectively evaluate systemperformance,it is necessary to compare permeate flow data atthe same conditions.Since data may not always be obtained atthe same conditions,it is necessary to convert the UF dataobtained at actual conditions to a set of constant conditions,thereby standard

12、izing the data.The user of this practicedetermines the standard conditions.This practice gives theprocedure to standardize UF data on pure water only.NOTE1Feed concentration,crossflow velocity,and both device andtotal system recovery will also influence permeate rate,especially whenoperating on othe
