6、e purchase order.When so specified,the test laminate(see Sec-tion 8)shall be made with that resin and the purchase order shall specify its dry and wet flexural strength requirements.4.3 Weights and Dimensions-The woven roving glass fabric shall conform to the require-ments for roll length,weights,an
7、d dimensions described in Table 2.4.4 Widths-The following widths shall be considered standard:965 mm(38 in.),1120 mm(44 in.),1270 mm(50 in.),and 1520 mm(60 in.).Other widths are available upon request.The widths of the fabric shall vary not more than 12.7 mm(0.50 in.).4.5 Workmanship-The fabric sha
8、ll be man-ufactured in accordance with best commercial practice to produce a material of uniform qual-ity,substantially free from defects that would affect its end use application.5.Detail Requirements 5.I The properties of the fabric shall be such that when plastic laminates are fabricated and test

14、g(20()()()lb).6.3 Small Lot Sampling-:-On orders less than 9070 kg(20 000 lb),the sampling proce-dure shall be agreed upon between manufac-turer and purchaser.However,if small multiple shipments are made from an inspected lot,the shipments may be made without additional inspection.7.Test Methods(Fab
15、ric)7.l The properties enumerated in this spec-ification shall be determined in accordance with the following methods:7.1.1 Thread Count,Width,and Weight-Method D 1910.8.Test Methods(Laminate)8.1 Preparation of Laminate:8.l.3 Test a sample of the cured lamate for resin content ill accordance with Se
16、ction 9.If outside the specified limits,reject the laminate and prepare another.Test specimens cut from the properly made laminate for laminate strengths in accordance with Section 10.81.4 If desired,the,test laminate may be made by the vac1mm bag technique and must meet the requirements of 8.1.1 in regards to resin content,tlllckness,and number of plies.8.l.5 Apply resin to each layer in such a manner as to wet out completely all layers of glass without inclusiOn of air voids.8.l.6 Enclose the
