16、 to provide orrequire adequate inspection of the box section installation atthe construction site.6.Excavation6.1 Trenches shall be excavated to the dimensions and gradespecified on the plans or as ordered by the owner.The width oftrenches shall be kept to the minimum required for installationof the box sections and proper compaction of the sidefill.6.2 When ledge rock,compacted rocky,or other unyieldingfoundation material is encountered,it shall be removed to therequirements shown on the plans.
