3、 to improve the levelness,smoothness,and flatness of existing floors.These materials may be used asan underlayment to receive floor finishes,or as an overlaymentto serve as the wear surface.The self-leveling mortars coveredby these test methods consist of proprietary blends of hydrauliccements,along

4、 with fine aggregate,polymers,fillers,and otheradditives.1.2 UnitsThe values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard.Thevalues stated in each system may not be exact equivalents;therefore,each system shall be used independently of the other.Combining v

5、alues from the two systems may result in non-conformance with the standard.Some values have only SI unitsbecause the inch-pound equivalents are not used in practice.1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns,if any,associated with its use.It is theresponsibility of the u
