9、spectionIf the purchaser wishes towitness tests or inspection of material at the place ofmanufacture,the purchase order must so state,indicatingwhich tests or inspections are to be witnessed.5.Materials and Manufacture5.1 Pipe and tube shall be furnished in the solution-annealedcondition.NOTE1The re
10、commended heat treatment for UNS N08028 shallconsist of heating the material to a temperature of 1975 to 2100F(1080to 1150C)with subsequent quenching in water or rapidly cooling byother means.The recommended heat treatment for UNS N08029 shallconsist of heating the material to a minimum temperature
11、of 2000F(1100C)with subsequent quenching in water or rapidly cooling by othermeans.5.2 The scale shall be removed by suitable means.Whenbright annealed,scale removal operations are not necessary.6.Chemical Composition6.1 The material shall conform to the requirement pre-scribed in Table 1.6.1.1 A ch
12、emical analysis shall be made on each lot ofmaterial as described in Specification B829.6.2 If a product(check)analysis is performed by thepurchaser,the material shall conform to Table 1 subject to theproduct(check)analysis variations prescribed in SpecificationB829.7.Mechanical Properties and Other
