1、Designation:B27795(Reapproved 2012)Standard Test Method forHardness of Electrical Contact Materials1This standard is issued under the fixed designation B277;the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or,in the case of revision, the year of last revision.A
2、number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval.Asuperscript epsilon()indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1.Scope1.1 This test method covers the determination of the hard-ness of metallic materials used for electrical contacts.Rockwell,Rockwell superficial
3、,Brinell,and microhardnesstests are included, along with information on the limitationsand use of these tests.1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematicalconversions to SI units that are provided for information onlyand are n

9、ell 15T scale readings of72 and higher were not affected.3.2 The microhardness test is of questionable significancewhen the metallic phases in a material are so large that theindentation does not represent an accurate average hardness.Sintered contact materials usually contain segregates differinggr
