11、nsions within thepermissible variations specified,as shown on the drawings,shall rest with the manufacturer,except where mold equipmentis furnished by the purchaser.Sufficient stock shall be allowedfor shrinkage and,where required,for finishing;but castings ofexcessive weight shall not be furnished.

15、es1 5.Treatment5.1 The castings may be subjected to such heat treatment asthe manufacturer desires to produce material that will conformto the requirements specified.Heat treatment shall be per-formed on the whole of the casting,never on a part only,andshall be applied in a manner that will produce
16、uniformity.Unless otherwise specified,treatment shall be in accordancewith Practice B661.6.Chemical Composition6.1 The castings shall conform to the chemical compositionlimits in Table 1.6.2 The chemical analysis shall be made in accordance withTest Method B954,or by any other approved methods agreedupon by the manufacturer and the purchaser.The analysis maybe made spectrochemically provided that,in case ofdisagreement,the results secured by Test Method B954 shall bethe basis for acceptance.6.3
