15、 purchasing agencies,to this date,have achieved more than a meager trial application of quality assurance specifications.This symposium was an attempt to present,on one program,a four-sided view of the subject.For this purpose,four individuals known to be knowledgeable in quality assurance procedure
16、s were asked to prepare presentations for the sympo-sium.Each was to approach the subject from his own field of involvement and experience.The four viewpoints presented were those of a federal administra-tor,a state or purchasing authority,a materials supplier,and a contracting firm.Currently,there seems to be renewed and expanded interest in all aspects of quality assurance.An increasing number of contractors and materials pro-ducers are following the lead of those firms that have already reali
