11、.Louis,MO.The symposium was sponsored by ASTM Committee E8 on Fatigue and Fracture.Richard C.Rice,with Battelle Columbus Laboratories in Co-lumbus,OH,and Douglas E.Tritsch,with the University of Dayton Research Institute in Dayton,OH,served as cochairmen of the symposium and are editors of this publ
12、ication.This symposium was originally planned as two independent symposia,titled The Design Criteria to Assure Structural Integrity and The Effects of Product Quality on Structural Durability.The ultimate decision to merge these two symposia was based on their shared emphasis on enhancing the servic
