8、244A/DA)was approved.3.To confirm the minutes of the meeting held in Palma de Mallorca on 29th and 30 September 2003 The approval of the minutes was noted.The DE comment to SMB/2680/R,Clause C was considered.It is recognized that technical information on SPD considered IEC 62305-4 may be included al

10、of the work since the last meeting Secretary reported on the work done mainly to implement decisions taken at Palma de Mallorca(doc.81/256/INF).6.WG 3-Activity report Report(81/255/INF)was presented by the TC 81 Secretary in absence of the Convenor Mr.Landers.Mr.Ed Pols,acting as Convenor in last WG
11、 3 meeting,reported on the work done at meeting held in Seoul Comments received to 81/238/CDV were considered by WG 3 at its meeting in Rome(July 2004).The relevant revised compilation of comments-81/243A/RVC circulated in August 2004.WG 3 prepared the updated draft of IEC 62305-4 FDIS to be process
12、ed by Editing Committee.A proposal for future work was prepared to be discussed by TC 81.7.WG 8-Activity report The Convenor Mr.Mazzetti presented his report(81/249/INF).Comments received to 81/216/CDV and to 81/239/DC were considered by WG 8 at its meeting in Rome(July 2004).The relevant revised co
13、mpilation of comments-81/237A/RVC and 81/242A/INF circulated in August 2004.WG 8 prepared the updated draft of IEC 62305-1 FDIS to be processed by Editing Committee.Comments received to 81/240/CDV were considered by WG 8 at its meeting in Rome(July 2004).The relevant revised compilation of comments-
14、81/247A/RVC circulated in August 2004.WG 8 prepared the updated draft of IEC 62305-3 FDIS to be processed by Editing Committee.A proposal for future work was prepared to be discussed by TC 81.US delegate required the following clause“in some countries“to be inserted in the foreword of IEC 62305-3:“I
15、n the United States,based on the requirements of NFPA 780:Standard for the Installation of Lightning Protection Systems 2004 Edition and practical experience in the use of horizontal earth electrodes,the minimum length of horizontal earth electrodes is not required to be twice that required for vert
16、ical electrodes.”4 81/258/RM 8.WG 9-Activity report The Convenor Mr.Mazzetti presented his report(81/250/INF).Comments received to 81/241A/CDV were considered by WG 9 at its meeting in Rome(July 2004).The relevant revised compilation of comments-81/246/RVC circulated in August 2004.WG 9 prepared the updated draft of IEC 62305-2 FDIS to be processed by Editing Committee.A proposal for future work was prepared to be discussed by TC 81.The matter of 24%negative vote was discussed.Some delegates exp
