Based on the introduction to the origins of Chinese and British wine cups, wine classifications, drinking purposes, drinking etiquette, the author tries to analyze t
5、he root causes of wine cultural differences between China and Britain, and to understand different cultural connotations and manifestations between China and Britain. 7、文化的最根本的原因是饮酒的目的。在中国，喝酒的人比酒本身更重要，酒总是被用作工具。在英国，喝酒的目的很简单。当人们喝酒时，他们只是想欣赏和享受酒。当然，他们喝酒也为了摆脱限制，寻找他们的内心欲望。酒在英国也有传播的功能，但人们认为喝酒中最重要的是追求更好的酒。由于酒文化的差异，中英两国喝酒的目的是不同的。通过深层次地分析中英酒文化的不同，希望能让读者了解中英文酒文化的差异，从而使读者思考中英文化的更深层次的内涵，也希望通过以上的研究得出饮酒方式的不同，使中英两国在今后的跨文化交际中能够给予相互的重视及尊重。有助于扩大读者的文化视野，提高跨文化交际意识，在全球化浪潮中实现有效交流。关键词：酒文化
