9、g no fiber.3.1.2 Type II Fibered,containing asbestos fiber.3.1.3 Type III Fibered,containing no asbestos fiber.4.Physical Requirements4.1 UniformityAfter a thoroughly stirred sample hasstood for 72 h at room temperature 23.9 6 1.7C(75 6 3.0F)the aluminum emulsion shall be of smooth,uniform consis-te
10、ncy without separation of settlement in storage to the extentthat it cannot be readily dispersed by moderate stirring.4.2 ConsistencyThe aluminum emulsion shall be of suit-able consistency for application above freezing by brush,roller,or suitable spray equipment without thinning with wateror heatin
11、g,and shall bond to either damp or dry surfaces toproduce a film in which the aluminum pigment forms a brightreflective surface when applied according to manufacturersrecommendations.4.3 Application of the aluminum emulsion shall be between10 and 37.8C(50 and 100F)surface temperature.At tem-perature
12、s above 37.8C(100F),a fine water mist to aidcooling of the roof surface to be coated prior to application isrecommended.The amount of water applied to the surfaceshould be sufficient for dampening without any glisteningsurface water.4.4 The aluminum emulsion shall conform to the additionalrequiremen
