1、Designation:D751317Standard Test Method forCapacity of Mixed Bed Ion Exchange Cartridges1This standard is issued under the fixed designation D7513;the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or,in the case of revision, the year of last revision.A number in
2、parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval.Asuperscript epsilon()indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1.Scope1.1 This test method covers the determination of the perfor-mance of mixed bed ion exchange resin cartridges in the activeform when used for deionization
3、.The test can be used todetermine the initial capacity of unused cartridges or theremaining capacity of used cartridges. In this case performanceis defined as ion exchange capacity(or throughput)to twodefined endpoints. The method does not measure organics anddoes not attempt to determine the ultimate
4、 water qualityattainable by the cartridge.1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded asstandard. No other units of measurement are included in thisstandard.1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns,if any, associated with its use.It is theresponsibility of the u
