3、a molten state by screed/extrusion or ribbonextrusion means.Retroreflectivity of the pavement markingcompound is achieved initially by surface application ofretroreflective optics at the time of pavement marking appli-cation.Upon cooling to normal pavement temperature,thepavement marking material pr
4、oduces an adherent reflectorizedstripe of specified thickness and width capable of resistingdeformation by traffic.The pavement marking compoundincludes retroreflective optics(glass beads or composite optics,or both)that are incorporated into the material at the time ofmanufacture that provide retro
