2、 year of last revision.A number in parentheses indicates the year of lastreapproval.A superscript epsilon()indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1.Scope1.1 Cannabis harvested materials require sampling strate-gies throughout their life cycle,from cultivation to the endc

3、onsumer.For purposes of this standard,the term cannabis isinclusive of all cannabis inflorescence,including hemp variet-ies.The qualitative and quantitative characteristics of cannabis/hemp for human or animal consumption has safety implica-tions throughout the life cycle from cultivation to endcons

4、umer.This standard provides best practice procedures andprotocols for sampling batches of harvested cannabis inflores-cence.Cannabis/hemp materials often exhibit variability acrossdifferent parts within the same plant or across different plantswithin the same cultivar,or both,(1,2).2Thus,samplingstr

5、ategies are required which yield a representative a sampleacross a harvest batch.Representative sampling is required toensure that the qualitative and quantitative test results accu-rately reflect cannabinoid identification,potency,identificationand concentration of terpenes,concentration of trace m

6、etals,microbiological activity,mycotoxins,and concentration ofpesticides across the batch.1.2 Where procedural aspects of this practice differ fromlocal regulatory or jurisdictional requirements,the local regu-latory or jurisdictional authoritys directives shall take prece-dence.1.3 UnitsThe values

7、stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard.Thevalues stated in each system are not necessarily exact equiva-lents;therefore,to ensure conformance with the standard,eachsystem shall be used independently of the other,and valuesfrom the two systems shall no
