8、stomarily occurs in the form of circulardisks about 76 mm(3 in.)in diameter and 3 mm(18in.)inthickness and is known to the trade as pure button lac.Type IIIis dark garnet in color and is known to the trade as pure garnetlac.Garnet lac is manufactured in admixture with rosin and asa dewaxed lac.The a
9、dmixture and dewaxed lac are not coveredby this specification.6.Properties6.1 The material shall conform to the requirements pre-scribed in Table 1.7.Test Methods7.1 Determine the material sampled and the propertiesenumerated in this specification in accordance with TestMethods D29 and D411.8.Certif
10、ication8.1 When specified in the purchase order or contract,aproducers or suppliers certification shall be furnished to thepurchaser that the material complies with the requirements ofthis specification.A report of the test results shall be furnishedwhen specified in the purchase order or contract.1
