7、 and thebeaker is visually evaluated for deposits.4.Significance and Use4.1 Thermal stability characterizes physical and chemicalproperty changes which may adversely affect an oils lubricat-ing performance.This test method evaluates the thermalstability of a way lubricant in the presence of copper a
