8、ner at specified torques.Alternatively,the torquerequired to reach specified levels of bolt tension may bemeasured.5.Significance and Use5.1 On some applications of threaded fasteners,it is desir-able to control either the amount of developed tension when aspecified range of torque has been applied
9、or the torquerequired to develop a specified range of tension.This testmethod is used to determine the effect of using adhesives onthe torque-tension relationship of threaded fasteners.5.2 Accurate torque-tension relationships may be measuredonly by defining and controlling the many related test par
