3、ceappearance as a result of exposure to foot traffic undercontrolled conditions.A separate test method,D7330,coversthe assessment of surface appearance change using the Carpetand Rug Institute Reference Scales.21.2 This practice is applicable to most changes in surfaceappearance observed in all type
4、s of carpet that are intended forresidential or commercial use.It eliminates change in appear-ance associated with soiling by focusing on appearance changedue to matting,flattening,or change in pile fiber configuration.Although“pile reversal”or“watermarking”is occasionallyvisible,this practice is no
