16、he heat buildup,which may occur outdoors due to the sun.5.Significance and Use5.1 Heat buildup in PVC exterior building products due toabsorption of the energy from the sun may lead to distortionproblems.Heat buildup is affected by the color,emittance,absorptance,and reflectance of a product.Generally,the darkerthe color of the product,the more energy is absorbed and thegreater is the heat buildup.However,even with the sameapparent color,the heat buildup may vary due to the specificpigment syste
