3、 system covers polyamide-imide ma-terials suitable for injection molding and extrusion.1.2 The properties included in this classification system arethose required to identify the compositions covered.It ispossible that other requirements are necessary to identifyparticular characteristics important
4、to specialized applications.The use of suffixes as shown in Section 5 is one way ofspecifying these requirements.1.3 This standard allows for the use of recycled materialsprovided that specification requirements based upon this clas-sification system are met.1.4 This classification system and subseq
5、uent line call-out(specification)is intended to be a means of calling out plasticsmaterials used in the fabrication of end items or parts.It is notintended for the selection of materials.Material selection needsto be made by those having expertise in the plastics field aftercareful consideration of
