9、rably a white room.7.Procedure 5.I Ultra-clean grade trichlorotrifluoro-7.1 Sampling o f 55-gal Drum:7.1.1 Set up the apparatus shown in Fig.I.7.1.2 Rinse all parts of the apparatus coming in contact with the trichlorotrifluoroethane being sampled with ultra-clean trichlorotrifluoroethane prior to s
10、ampling.7.I.3 Insert the stainless steeI probe into the 2 in.bung of the drum.7.1.4 The sample is drawn by creating a vac-uum in the sample bottle with the rubber bulb.A rubber bulb is preferred to an electric vacuum pump as it eliminates a possible source of oiI contamination.7.k.5 As the sample is

14、ing taken and admit a minimum amount of atmospheric contamination.7.1.8 After the sample is drawn,cap the bottle with“Bake Cap.”There is sufficient material to run two complete series of tests.7.2 Tank-Truck Sampling:NOTE 2-The following procedure is for sampling tank trucks equipped with a circulat
15、ing pump.if the tank truck is not equipped with a circulating pump,it will be necessary to modi the procedure to ensure that a representative sample is obtained.(See Fig.2.)7.2.1 Circulate the ultra-clean grade tri-chlorofrifluoroethane in the tank truck by means of the circulating pump for at least
16、 30 min.7.2.2 Be sure that the sample outlet of the circulating system is free of large particles.if necessary,open the valve slightly and flush the sampje outlet for a few minutes.7.2!3 Slowly open the valve on the sample outlet line and flush the sample receiver three times.7.2.4 Collect sample and cap the bottle.7.2.5 Figure 2 illustrates an industrial system for trichlorotrifluoroethane storage and tank transport.8.Precision and Bias 8.1 Statement of absolute bias is not possible;however,the
