3、rminologyabrasive blast cleaningthe removal from a concrete surfaceof all laitance,oil,grease,curing compounds,or coatings bythe action of a high-velocity stream of abrasive in air orwater followed by a blast of air to provide a concrete surfacefree of abrasive dust and other particles.The abrasive
4、maybe clean silica sand,mineral grit,steel shot,steel grit,ormineral slag.anodes,impressed currentinactive materials such as high-silicon cast iron and graphite.These anodes provide theelectrical connection to the conductive overlay,but requireuse of an outside source for protective energy,that is,a
5、nimpressed current.At the current densities recommended bythe manufacturers,these anodes are highly resistant toelectrolytic attack but deteriorate at known rates.anodes,sacrificialchemically active metals such as zinc,aluminum,and magnesium which,when electrically con-nected to the reinforcing bar,
