2、entheses indicates the year of last reapproval.Asuperscript epsilon()indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.This standard has been approved for use by agencies of the U.S.Department of Defense.1.Scope1.1 This specification covers requirements for epoxy ther-mosettingmold

3、ingcompounds.Itprovidesfortheiridentification,quality control,and purchase in such a mannerthat the purchaser and the seller can agree on the substantialsimilarity of different commercial lots or shipments.1.2 The compounds covered under this specification consistof mixtures or blends of epoxy resin

4、s and curing agentsintimately combined,in an unreacted or partially reactedcondition,with fillers,reinforcements,colorants,and otherchemical agents.1.3 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as thestandard.NOTE1The properties included in this specification are those requiredto identify the

5、 kinds of molding compounds covered.There may be otherrequirements necessary to define particular characteristics.These will beadded to the specification as their inclusion becomes generally desirableand the necessary test data and methods become available.NOTE2There is no known ISO equivalent to th

12、tification which enables coverage for all commer-cially available grades having properties within the range of thepossible combinations as may be selected from Table 1.Agrade is designated by the cell numbers for each property in theorder in which they are listed in Table 1.When a property is notspe
