16、e free from any apparent damage at the time ofparticipation in the study.Subjects are to refrain from use ofany antimicrobials for at least one week prior to the initiationof the test procedure(see Section 11).4.2 Subjects hands are artificially contaminated with 0.2mL of a high-titer suspension of the test bacteria which isdistributed over all surfaces of the hands and fingers to producea minimum baseline recovery level of 108cfu/hand.BecauseSerratia marcescens is relatively sensitive to drying
