15、uniformity of contents.Record the degree of separation,if any,into portions of appreciably different consistency,such as thickor thin layers,sedimentation or coagulation,and so forth.Alsonote any difficulty encountered in stirring to a uniform condi-tion.4.3 Take the samples for laboratory examinati
16、on from theoriginal containers immediately after stirring to a uniformcondition.Restir individual or combined samples immediatelybefore taking out portions for tests.5.Uniformity5.1 ProcedureExamine the contents of a full container ofnot less than 1 L or 1 qt in volume that has stood undisturbedfor 48 h.5.2 ReportMake a notation of any separation of water,coagulation of the emulsified bitumen,or settlement of sus-pended matter that cannot be overcome by moderate agitation.6.Resistance to Freezin
