9、r powerfacilities,under radiation exposure for the life of the facilities,including radiation during a DBA(Coating Service Level Iareas only).Specific plant radiation exposure may exceed or beless than the amount specified in 7.2 of this standard.Ifrequired by the licensee design basis,the gamma dos

10、e usedmay exceed the actual anticipated plant gamma dose to accountfor beta dose.Coatings in Level II and III areas(outsideprimary containment)are expected to be exposed to loweraccumulated radiation doses.5.Preparation of Test Samples5.1 Steel PanelsPanels shall be prepared in accordancewith Specif

11、ication D5139 or as approved by the licensee.5.2 Concrete BlocksBlocks shall be prepared in accor-dance with Specification D5139 or as approved by the licensee.6.Sampling6.1 Prepare and test specimens at least in duplicate,or asotherwise specified by the licensee.7.Procedures7.1 Irradiation Dose Rat

12、e:7.1.1 Make the gamma energy field at the position of the testspecimen 1 106rads/h,or greater,unless otherwise specifiedby the licensee.It shall be uniform to within 10%from oneposition of the specimen to another.1This test method is under the jurisdiction of ASTM Committee D33 onProtective Coating
