11、mistors or thermocouples with equal or betteraccuracy within the temperature range of thermometer 7C or7F may be used.6.Sample Preparation6.1 Prepare an uncompacted bituminous-coated aggregatemixture following established laboratory procedures or obtaina sample of plant-produced mixture in accordanc
12、e with Prac-tice D979.The temperature of hot mixtures shall be below theboiling temperature of water,but not less than 85C(180F),before placing in boiling water.The temperature of mixturesthat are cold mixed shall be at or above room temperaturebefore placing in boiling water.7.Procedure7.1 For each
