8、on between the purchaser and the seller.4.2 Additives:4.2.1 Types I and II,Class A shall contain an antioxidant.4.2.2 Type I,Class B shall contain a coq-centration of uniformly dispersed,high-color carbon black.4.2.3 Type I,Class C shall contain a con-centration of light stabilizer.4.3 Color-Unless
9、otherwise specified the acetal resin shall contain no color pigment.4.4 Form-The acetal resin shall be in the form of pellets and shall contain a surface lubricant when specified by agreement be-tween the purchaser and the seller.4.5 Specific gravity,melting point,and melt flow rate shall be as spec

14、atistical sampling shall be considered an acceptable alternative.6.Test Methods6.1 The mechanical properties of specimens molded or extruded from acetal resins are influenced by a number of factors,such as cylinder temperature,die temperature,rate of filling the die,and preconditioning prior to test
15、ing.It is essential that the manufacturers recommendations on molding and extrusion conditions be followed.Determine the pro erties enumerated in these specifications in accordance with the following methods:6.1.1 Conditioning-For tests of tensile properties and deflection temperature under load,con
16、dition the molded test specimens in accordance with Procedure A of Methods D 618.For tests of dielectric constant and dissipation factor,condition the specimens in accordance with Procedure D of Methods D 618.The other tests require no conditioning.6.1.2 Test Conditions-Conduct tests for tensile properties in the Standard Laboratory Atmosphere of 23 2C(73.4 3.6F)and 50 5%relative humidity as defined in Procedure A of Methods D 618.Tests for specific gravity,melting point,and melt flow rate may b
