11、ture changeof the calorimeter caused by the process that occurs inside thebomb,that is,the observed temperature change corrected forvarious effects as noted in 10.4.1.NOTE1Temperature is measured in either degrees Celsius or degreesFahrenheit.Thermometer corrections should be applied.Temperaturesmay

12、 be recorded in ohms or other arbitrary units instead of degrees.Consistent units must be used in standardization and the actual calorificvalue determination.If arbitrary units other than degrees Celsius orFahrenheit are used,the temperature interval over which all tests aremade,must not vary so muc

13、h that an error greater than 0.001C would becaused.3.2.2 energyequivalent,heatcapacity,orwaterequivalentthe energy required to raise the temperature of thecalorimeter one arbitrary unit.This is the quantity that,whenmultiplied by the corrected temperature rise,then adjusted forextraneous heat effect
