16、.1 Samples are dissolved in a mixture of mineral acids andthe resulting solutions are measured using inductively coupledplasma mass spectrometry.5.Significance and Use5.1 This test method for the chemical analysis of nickelalloys is primarily intended to test material for compliance withspecifications such as those under jurisdiction of ASTMcommittee B02.It may also be used to test compliance withother specifications that are compatible with the test method.5.2 It is assumed that all who use thi
