1、Designation:C39501(Reapproved 2012)Standard Specification forChemical-Resistant Resin Mortars1This standard is issued under the fixed designation C395;the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or,in the case of revision, the year of last revision.A number

2、 in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval.Asuperscript epsilon()indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval. This standard has been approved for use by agencies of the Department of Defense.1.Scope1.1 This specification covers the requirements for chemical-resistan

3、t resin mortars for bonding chemical-resistant brick ortile.Mortars of this group generally have better physicalproperties and resist a wider variety of chemicals than inor-ganic mortars. For the use of these materials, see PracticeC399.NOTE1Resin mortars and grouts are differentiated as follows:resin

4、mortars are troweled onto the brick or tile,in sufficient quantity to achievea18-in.(3-mm)thick joint after the brick or tile are laid in place(butteringor bricklayers method).Resin grouts are applied to the joints,generally14in.(6 mm)wide, after the brick or tile are set in place and the settingbed
