10、ticular purpose to be served by the bid sample should beclearly stated.6.Materials and Manufacture6.1 MaterialThe glass used shall be glazing quality,floatglass in accordance with the requirements for SpecificationC1036,Type I,Class 1,quality q3or higher,if required,andheat-treated Specification C10
11、48,kind FT.6.2 MarkingSpecimens shall exhibit the words“fullytempered”approximately12in.(12.7 mm)from the edge bymeans of etching or sand blasting.Marking shall be donebefore heat treating.7.Other Requirements7.1 Breaking StrengthGlasses shall exhibit satisfactoryresistance to breakage(see 11.1.2.1)
