3、gnited.2.Procedure 2.1 Ignite a platinum or other heat-resistant dish(por-celain,quarfz,silica)having a capacity of 50 to 100 ml,cool in a desiccator,and weigh to the nearest 0.0001 g.2.2 Weigh 20.0 g,to the nearest 0.1 g,of rosin into the dish.Place it on a ring-stand close under a flue pipe in a h

7、d,at a temperature of about 250C,and raise the temperature slowly to 500C.Maintain the temperature at 500 to 550C until ali carbonaceous matter has been consumed,Remove the dish from the furnace to a desic-cator,covering at once with a warmed watch glass to prevent air currents from carrying off any
