3、-alloy columbium,or vanadium hot-rolledsheet and strip,or combinations thereof,in coils beyond thesize limits of Specification A 607.This material is intended formiscellaneous applications where greater strength and savingsin weight are important.The material is available as twoclasses.They are simi
4、lar in strength level,except that Class 2offers improved weldability and more formability than Class 1.Atmospheric corrosion resistance of these steels is equivalentto plain carbon steels.With copper specified,the atmosphericcorrosion resistance is somewhat enhanced.NOTE1For methods of establishing
