3、18.1.Scope*1.1 This specification covers aluminum-alloy castings,pro-duced by Squeeze Casting,and the Semi-Solid Thixocast andRheocast casting processes,designated as shown in Table 1.1.2 This specification is for aluminum-alloy squeezecastings,and semi-solid Thixocast and Rheocast castings usedin g
4、eneral purpose applications.It may not address the me-chanical properties,integrity testing,and verification requiredfor highly loaded or safety critical applications.1.3 Alloy and temper designations are in accordance withANSI H35.1/H35.1(M).1.4 Unless the order specifies the“M”specificationdesigna
