2、ision.A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval.A superscript epsilon()indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1.Scope*1.1 This specification covers electric fusion welded pipesuitable for high-temperature or corrosive service as listed inTable 1.(Alth

3、ough no restrictions are placed on the sizes ofpipe that may be furnished under this specification,commercialpractice is commonly limited to sizes not less than 8 in.203mm nominal diameter.)1.2 Five classes of pipe are covered as follows:1.2.1 Class 1Pipe shall be double welded by processesemploying

4、 filler metal in all passes and shall be completelyradiographed.1.2.2 Class 2Pipe shall be double welded by processesemploying filler metal in all passes.No radiography is re-quired.1.2.3 Class 3Pipe shall be single welded by processesemploying filler metal in all passes and shall be completelyradio

5、graphed.1.2.4 Class 4Same as Class 3 except that the weld passexposed to the inside pipe surface may be made without theaddition of filler metal.1.2.5 Class 5Pipe shall be double welded by processesemploying filler metal in all passes and shall be spot radio-graphed.1.3 The values stated in either S

6、I units or inch-pound unitsare to be regarded separately as standard.The values stated ineach system may not be exact equivalents;therefore,eachsystem shall be used independently of the other.Combiningvalues from the two systems may result in non-conformancewith the standard.1.4 This standard does n
