3、d high-strength low-alloy structural steel plates for welded,riveted,orbolted construction.It is intended primarily for use in weldedbridges and buildings where savings in weight,added durabil-ity,and good notch toughness are important.The atmosphericcorrosion resistance of this steel in most enviro
4、nments issubstantially better than that of carbon structural steels with orwithout copper addition(see Note 1).When properly exposedto the atmosphere,this steel can be used bare(unpainted)formany applications.Welding technique is of fundamental im-portance,and it is presupposed that the welding proc
