8、rmitting air to flow in or out of detention areaswhile preventing ingress or egress of persons confined therein.3.2 Definitions of Terms Specific to This Standard:3.2.1 Equipment ManufacturerA manufacturer who fab-ricates and assembles security products,including tool-resisting steel enclosures,for
9、installation in areas requiringsecurity against ingress and egress.This manufacturer pro-cesses the semifinished bar to produce a finished bar suitablefor fabrication into components and is responsible for all heattreating and other fabricating processes to obtain the perfor-mance characteristics sp
10、ecified.The manufacturer is alsoresponsible for fabricating and assembling all ancillary itemsso as not to impair the performance characteristics of thematerials.3.2.2 Performance CharacteristicsThe response to testsof specific materials as required in SpecificationsA 627,A 628,and A 629.4.Ordering
